I like your suggestions but it is impractical for me to have only one VPN on my system.
I work have equipment at thousands of different companies with each company having multiple locations. I need to service the customers and this requires connecting to a location via a VPN.
Most of the equipment typically has a ethernet port but not a typical operating system and requires a direct network connection to communicate via proprietary licensed software. My system can take weeks to setup installing one VPN just right so it will work and not disable the 10 VPN vendors configurations. I and trying to create multiple virtual machines to run one VPN and I am trying to figure out how to send the communication to the virtual machine VPN.
Do you have any suggestions?
